Mangalore: Panambur Beach Life Guards rescue youth from drowning

Mangalore, Jan 27, 2013: A young tourist from Hassan who as drowning at the Panambur beach was rescued by the Life Guards of the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project (PBTDP) on January 26, Saturday.
According to Yatish Baikampady, CEO of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project, the Life Guards have so far rescued 71 persons from drowning.
On Saturday, Satish (19) hailing from Mavinahalli, Arakalagudu in Hassan, slipped into the water while playing on the shore along with his friends, but was rescued on time by the Life Guards.
