Mangalore : Moily visits Ladygoschen Hospital, inspects site of proposed building

Mangalore, Jan 13, 2013:  Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily, on January 12, Saturday, visited Ladygoschen Hospital and inspected the site where the proposed new building of the hospital would be constructed.

Speaking to reporters later, Moily said the 250 bed hospital will be upgraded into a 500 bedded hospital once the new building comes up. He said the building sponsored by the MRPL would come up at a cost of Rs 21 crores. He also said the foundation stone ceremony to be held on February 9 was likely to be attended by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar.

 

Moily also said the project was expected to be completed within two years and that steps would be taken to see that minimum inconvenience was caused to patients.
