Mangalore: Management Fest ‘Synergy 2013’ inaugurated at SDM College

Mangalore, Jan24,2013: A national level management fest ‘Synergy 2013’ organized by SDM College of Business Management, was inaugurated on January 24, Thursday by Praveen Kumar Kalbavi, CEO of Bearys Global Infotech Ltd. Mangalore. The theme of the event is ‘Entertainment Industry:

No Biz like Showbiz.’ The main objective is to enlighten students on the challenges and opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Speaking on the occasion, he exhorted young minds to evince interest in developing soft skills such as communiqué techniques and domain knowledge which are much sought after in the corporate world. He also urged the students to take part in extra-curricular activities which go a long way in personality development.

KN Taylor, veteran Tulu actor and theatre personality and Vaishali K Navada, Assistant Manager, Federal Bank, Belthangady were present as chief guests.

Dr. Devraj K, Principal of the College, Madhumathi J Raja and Shashiprabha, Staff Coordinators and others were present.
