Mangalore : MLA JR Lobo’s office inaugurated at Kadri

Mangalore, May 25, 2013: Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary inaugurated MLA J R Lobo’s office at the KUDCEMP building, Kadri on May 25, Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Poojary said he had not accepted the office, car and various other facilities offered to him by the government during his tenure as Lok Sabha member. But Lobo did a good job by accepting the government facilities and he is lucky to get such a huge office, Poojary further added.

He urged Lobo to use office to provide service to the people and society and not to use for his personal matter. The office is not just to serve the Congress workers and members but for the general public who come with their problem. The congress workers must not use Lobo for their personal work, he said.

Poojary also said that MLA must work with care, since people will keep an eye on him and his service. People have elected Congress because they were fed up with BJP governance and Congress must not repeat the mistakes, he said. “Don’t use politics to be a wealthy man, instead do some other business and earn from it. If Lobo misuses the power to become a wealthy man, then Poojary will be the first to go against him,” he warned.

He urged the Congress leaders and members not to defame the name of Congress, since the same party was responsible in bringing freedom to the country and name to the nation.

J R Lobo welcomed the guests and gathering and proposed vote of thanks.

Senior Congress Leader Ibrahim Kodijal, Masood, Suresh Ballal, KPCC Secretary Ivan D’Souza, Block President Nagendra, Dinesh Alva, Raheem, Philomina Lobo, Austin Peris, Advocate M P Noronha, Tejomaya and many others were present.
