Mangalore: Kulur Masjid Committee appeals for CBI probe into Panjimogaru double murder case

Mangalore, Dec 6, 2012: The Kulur Muhiyuddeen Jumma Masjid management committee  has urged the authorities to refer to the CBI the Panjimogaru double murder case which has still remained a mystery.


Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on December 6,  Thursday,  Hakeem Kulur, Joint Secretary of the  Masjid   said  the CoD probe into the case has failed to make any headway  and  that the murderers responsible for the killing of Raziya(35) and her eight year old daughter Fathima Zuha were still at large. It may be mentioned here that the mother and daughter were stabbed to death at their residence at Panjimogaru in Kavoor police station limits on June 28, 2011 during broad daylight.

Hakeem said  the local MLA Krishna Palemar, District Minister CT Ravi would also be requested to hand over the case to the CBI. 


Kulur Muhiyuddeen Jumma Masjid President K Ayub,  Secretary Ahmed Basheer and members Naufal Bava and Mohammad Haneef were present at the press meet.
