Mangalore, Jan 18, 2013: Customs officials at the Mangalore international airport have detained a person from Kerala after he was found in possession of gold biscuits hidden in his mobile phones.
The value of the gold has been estimated at Rs 10.85 lakh in the Indian market.
The passenger Mohammad Ali Moideen Kunhi hailing from Talangere in Kasargod district had arrived by an Air India Express Flight from Dubai at 6.30 am.
A customs official said the weight of the seized gold is 349.970 gms.
