The deceased is Nadeem (9), son of Abdul Sattar of Husna Mansion Flats. In fact, Sattar is the owner of the  apartment complex.

It is learnt the high-tension transformer though was surrounded by grills, was within an arm’s distance of anyone climbing the grills. Reports said Nadeem who was playing had climbed the grills and touched the transformer resulting in instant death. It was indeed tragic to see a part of Nadeem’s hand stuck in the transformer, while the body fell onto the ground. The MESCOM personnel later removed the severed part from the transformer.

Nadeem was studying in fourth standard at Sarojini Madhusudan Kushe School, Attavar.

Pandeshwar police have registered a case.
