Man arrested at MIA for illegally carrying 26 passports

Mangaluru Aug 17, 2016: A person held at Mangalore International Airport for illegally carrying 26 passports without authorization letter .The incident took place on August 16, Tuesday.
The person arrested is Abdullah Pallakan. He was on his journey to Dubai from Mangaluru by flight number 9W 532.
Abdullah was arrested by the Airport officials during security check for illegally carrying 26 passports among which the 2 belonged to US Nationals and the remaining were of Indians. Passports should be in the custody of either the holder or a person authorized by the holder as per the Passport Act 1967.
Investigations regarding the case are underway at Bajpe police station.
