Mangalore, Dec 19, 2012: State  BJP Vice President Sulochana Bhat  has said that the BJP Mahila Morcha will chalk out its strategies and activities    for the next 100 days  with the overall aim of  strengthening the party.

Speaking after   inaugurating the Mahila Morcha Review meeting held at District BJP Office on December 19, Wednesday, she said that the meeting will focus on upcoming activities of the BJP taking into view the present political situation.


She said all Mahila Morcha members would join hands to work towards the success of the party. Stating that the BJP was a party of principles, she said principles should be given utmost importance in politics.


However, she regretted how attaining power has been the sole objective of politics in the recent times.

  Recalling the services rendered by the Mahila Morcha workers for the success of the party in the previous elections, by undertaking a door-to-door campaigning, she said even this time the Mahila Morcha would join hands in this direction.


Bharathi Mughandham, State General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha said the  BJP government in the state has gifted several welfare schemes like Bhagyalakshmi scheme, Sandhya Suraksha scheme Stree Shakti scheme, Widow Pension scheme and many more. She said women have benefitted a great extent from these schemes.


 District BJP Mahila Morcha President Pulasya Rai delivered the key note address.
BJP District President Padmanabha Kottary, Puttur MLA Mallika Prasad, Jayanthi Naik and others were present.
