MLA J R Lobo inaugurates third district conference of BSNL

Mangalore, Nov 15, 2013: National Federation of Telecom Employees (BSNL) organized its third district conference at Nasik Bangera Hall on Nov 15, Friday.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, MLA J R Lobo said that the workers development is only possible when the company develops and the company’s growth takes place, when employees provide good service to the customers and gain popularity.

 

 

He also said that earlier getting a telephone connection to a house is a matter of reputation and challenge. When Rajiv Gandhi was the prime minister, Sam Pitroda, brought revolution in telephony usage and later the company was privatized and customers got the good service from BSNL.

Today customers have choices with more companies and it is the duty of BSNL to attract the customers through their service, he said.

Manjunath Revankar, president of Sooraj Education Trust, Y C Misra, Mangalore Principal General Manager of BSNL, K M Shetty, C K Mathivanan, Vasu Naik, Hiriyanna, Nagappa Poojary, K Padmanabha and others were present.
