MCC Bank inaugurates 9th ATM at Belman branch

Belman, Aug 9, 2025: MCC Bank Ltd. marked another milestone in its pursuit of customer service and banking excellence with the inauguration of its 9th ATM at the Belman Branch on Saturday.

The event was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Mr. Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank Ltd., and inaugurated by Mr. Shodhan Kumar Shetty, Proprietor of Manya Developers and Hotel Suraj Inn, Belman. Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St Joseph Church, Belman, blessed the ATM, invoking grace and prosperity for the branch and its customers. The first cash withdrawal was made by Mr. Fredrick Vincent Andrade.

 

 

 

 

 

Chief Guest Mr. Francis D’Souza, Proprietor of St Joseph Earth Movers and St Joseph Fuels, Belman, along with Mr. Dominic Andrade, Headmaster of St Joseph English Medium School, Belman, graced the occasion.

The program began with a welcome address by Ms. Shiny Lasrado, Branch Manager, followed by a floral welcome to dignitaries and an opening prayer led by Dealle and Alwyn Dsouza.

In his presidential address, Chairman Mr. Anil Lobo highlighted the bank’s growth, announcing that the Belman branch alone had crossed ₹5 crore in turnover. He noted that the Brahmavara branch achieved ₹10 crore in a year, and the newly opened Byndoor branch had already added over 100 new accounts. He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to accessibility and customer service through future expansions. He also thanked customers for their vital role in the branch’s success.

Mr. Shodhan Kumar Shetty commended MCC Bank for its outstanding services and the branch’s contribution to the Belman community, while Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas praised the bank for maintaining standards on par with nationalized banks and offering personalized service. Mr. Dominic Andrade expressed gratitude to loyal customers for their continued support.

To mark the occasion, mementoes were presented to all chief guests by the Chairman.

The event was compered by Mr. Ristesh Dsouza, who also proposed the vote of thanks. Vice Chairman Jerald Jude Dsilva, Directors Dr. Freeda Dsouza and Dr. Gerald Pinto, General Manager Sunil Menezes, Deputy General Manager Raj Menezes, staff, and customers were present.
