Lady Goshen hospital to get a new building and a Blood bank by MRPL

Mangalore,August 21, 2012 : Speaking at a free health camp and blood donation camp organized by the Mangalore Airport Diamond jubilee committee and Nitte University at Ravindra Kalabhavana of University College, MRPL Managing Director P P Upadhya said on Monday, that MRPL shall provide all the assistance to the Lady Goshen hospital in Mangalore, for the purchase of medical equipments and also sanctioned Rs.21 crore for the additional construction of a building.

“The funds will be released as a part of its social cultural responsibility .The proposal for setting up of a blood bank at the lady Goschen hospital is with a view to make blood available at cheaper rates to save the lives of the poor.”, he said.

K.S Hegde Medical Academy Dean Dr.Santhish Bhandary asked people to come forward to donate eyes, kidney and the body.

MRPL G.M Lakshminarayana, airport Director M R Vasudeva,Airport Diamomd Committee Convenor Tejomaya,Shravan Kumar ,KCCI Former president G.G. Mohandas Prabhu were present. As many as 80 Individuals donated blood on the occasion.
