Mangalore, Nov 15, 2013 : A family hailing from Kundapur which is settled in Goa is in a state of shock after it lost two of its members in a tragic incident at Rambagh Beach in Goa.
Meanwhile another family too is agonized after it lost its young member, a would-be groom in the tragedy.
The bodies of Ayaan (13) and the would-be-bridegroom Mujiburrehman(38) are yet to be traced though it has already been over ten days since the tragedy took place.
The families of Ashraf and Naeem, both brothers hailing from Kundapur have settled in Vasco in Goa since the past few years. However, a family outing to the Rambagh beach turned tragic for them. Ashraf’s youngest son Shahaan and Naeem’s son Sayyed Thabish who were playing in the beach were almost washed away when their fathers rushed to help and plunged into the sea.
Meanwhile, Mujiburrehman from Shimoga who was at the beach along with his family, decided to help and plunged into the sea. Even Aayan(13), the elder son of Ashraf followed him.
But as fate would have it, the two children who were drowning were rescued, while Aayan and Mujiburrehman were not to be traced. In another tragedy, Aayan’s father Ashraf on realizing that his son has drowned, suffered a cardiac arrest and died on the spot.
It is learnt Mujiburrehman was to get married next month.
