Kundapur: CM Bommai lays foundation, inaugurates several projects

Kundapur, Nov 08, 2022: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on November 7, Monday inaugurated various developmental projects as well as laid foundation for several projects at a ceremony held at Kundapur.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the government would provide 75 units of electricity free of cost to the SC and ST communities. He said the development of ports would get maximum allocation. The CM further informed that Rs 10 crore would be released to check the spread of disease in arecanut plantations.

The CM also highlighted the various developmental initiatives of the state government, and said there were plans to open 100 Ambedkar hostels across the state and 50 hospitals named after saint Kanakadasa.

Former chief minister B S Yediyurappa who was also present, exuded confidence that the BJP would be re-elected to power in the next elections.

Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty, Ministers Kota Srinivas Poojary, S Angara, Sunil Kumar, Govind Karajola, Legislators Halady Srinivas Shetty, Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji Mendon, MP B Y Raghavendra, Udupi DC Kurma Rao and others were present.
