Kinnigoli, Nov 23, 2013 :  A house at Elinje in Aikala Gram Panchayat limits near Kinnigoli was partially gutted in a fire mishap on November 22, Friday evening. The loss has been estimated at Rs 1.50 lakhs.

The house belonged to Shuntipadi Harish Poojari.  The fire even gutted the  bathroom adjoining the house. It is learnt,  copra and areca stored at the place were also destroyed.

It is suspected that a spark from the fireplace in the bathroom might have ignited the fire.
