Kevin Misquith Nite scintillates Konkani music lovers

Mangalore, Feb 11, 2013 : The 25th musical nite of the popular Konkani band Kevin Misquith and Milestone band enthralled Konkani music lovers who were packed to capacity at the St Agnes Special School grounds on February 10, Sunday.

There was a thunderous applause when the star Kevin Misquith made a grand entry at the venue.

Superb performances by artistes kept the audience raptured and spell bound. Along with Kevin and Milestone, Munita Veigas and several other talented singers contributed to the success of the concert. The crowd swayed to the tunes of popular numbers like ‘Thuka Chint Chinthana,’ ‘Kedna Kedna’ etc.

Addressing a short function held in this connection, Konkani poet Melvyn Rodrigues said it were the untiring efforts of Kevin that has helped him excel in his field.

Vicar var Fr Stany Goveas, Fr Ronald D’Souza, ICYM Director, Dr Sunil, Rohan Monteiro, MD, Property Infratech and others were present.

There was a humorous show by ’Pokri Kalakar’ team while there were dance performances by Nach Sobhann troupe. Antony Cony and family, Doha Qatar were the sponsors of the event.
