Mangalore, Oct. 1, 2012: Shirmad Sudeendra Teertha Swamiji of Kashi Mutt concluded his Chathurmasa Vritha in Shri Venkataramana Temple, Car Street, on Monday.
The swamiji conducted special poojas at the temple on Monday morning on this occasion. He also had a darshan of the presiding deity of the temple.
He then visited Tirumala Tatha Shri Venkataramana Temple in Bantwal, the Vrindavan of Shri Devendra Teertha Swamiji, and Shri Veera Vittala Temple in Panemangalore.
Finally, he took part in a Shobha Yatre in Mangalore. The Shobha Yatre was accompanied by Chende artists, panchavadya, bhajans, and huli vesha teams. It began on the premises of Canara High School, passed through New Chitra Junction, Swadeshi Store, and Car Street, and finally returned to the temple. The swamiji then had a darshan of Veera Venkatesha.
Huge crowds of GSB devotees from all over the country took part in this event.
