Sullia, Mar 22, 2026: In a tragic incident, a young entrepreneur was found dead by suicide at a lodge in Goonadka, Sullia taluk. The deceased has been identified as Thilakraj (28), a resident of Bondala Shanthigudde near Panemangaluru.

Discovery: Thilakraj was found hanging in his room at a local lodge in Goonadka on Saturday morning.
Background: He owned and operated an aluminum fabrication business in Kalladka.
Timeline: He had been missing since the evening of March 20, after failing to contact his family. He reportedly drove his car from Kalladka toward Madikeri and checked into the Goonadka lodge on Friday evening.
Police Intervention: When he did not open his door for a long time on Saturday morning, the lodge staff grew suspicious and alerted the police. Upon breaking into the room, authorities found his body.
