Karkala : Dejected by non-release of campaign fund, KJP candidate falls ill

Udupi, May 2, 2013 : A KJP candidate  of Karkala, fell ill all of a sudden and had to be hospitalized on May 1, Wednesday. It is learnt, the candidate who had spent almost Rs 12 lakhs from his own pockets, was dejected when  the party failed to release funds for campaigning purposes.

According to sources, the candidate named Praveen had managed his election expenses by availing loan. It is learnt,  he was not offered the promised funds and that no KJP leader including Dhananjaya Kumar had evinced interest in   providing funds.
