Mangalore, Aug 23: A government school in Kadri was broken into before day-break of Aug 23 Tuesday and valuable school property including a brand new fan and stereo were damaged. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The miscreants also damaged the roof, water pipes, water tank, and furniture. When the students arrived in the morning, they could not sit inside the classrooms. 

This is the second time the Netaji Subhaschandra Bose Government Composite School is being vandalized. Last week, a few benches were damaged in the school.

Although the school authorities had lodged a complaint at the Kadri Police Station, the miscreants broke into the school a second time, destroying school property and wrecking the infrastructure. 

This time, the police have registered a case of theft because the miscreants have stolen a few water pipes. Since there was a musical event near the school, the police were around the night the school was vandalized, owing to which it is suspected that the vandals must have struck after 2:00 a.m. 

The management is planning to hire security guards for the night, especially because it is worried that the miscreants might wreck the important documents in the school. 

The Kadri police are currently investigating the case.
