Mangalore, Aug 28, 2013: KPCC Observors RV Venkatesh, Nanjayyana Matt and Pandian visited the District Congress Office here on August 28, Wednesday to elicit the views of party leaders and workers in view of the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
Venkatesh who spoke on the occasion said the mood of the voters was certainly in favour of the Congress party in the state. He said the win in the Lok Sabha bye elections in Mandya and Bangalore Rural constituencies has been a great morale booster for the party. Venkatesh also stated that the Congress was committed to provide a stable and transparent administration.
District in-charge minister and State Minister for Forest and Ecology who also spoke attributed the recent victory in the bye-polls to the good works done by the Congress government in the state. He said the feedback received from the party men will help the party choose the right candidate for the Lok Sabha elections.
Several Party leaders including Ibrahim Kodijal, Ivan D’Souza, Suresh Ballal, Vijaykumar Shetty, Shashidhar Hegde, Kripa Alva and Jacintha Alfred were present at the party office.
