Mangalore, July 25, 2012: Shachi Technologies Director Yathish Babu announced at a press meet held today that Shachi Technologies and NMAMIT will jointly organize a job fair for rural and differently abled youth at Nitte in Karkala on July 28, Saturday. 

Mr. Babu said that several job seekers are expected from all over coastal Karnataka. The job fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Further, he said that, although studies have been made to assess employment potential in India’s formal private sector, not much has been done to create jobs in the informal and rural sectors. He spoke of the possibilities of generating jobs in farming, agriculture, and so on. 

Speaking about efforts made by several organizations to provide knowledge to rural youth, he said that special training is also being given to differently abled youth. 

He stressed on the need to create secure employment opportunities in rural areas so that youth trained in the above-mentioned organizations can put their knowledge and skills to use and contribute to rural economy and growth in technology, health, services, and other sectors. 

He said that entrance to the job fair is free, adding that special attention will be given to special citizens.
