Mangalore, Aug 23, 2011 : All the Govindas across the city enthusiastically broke pots of buttermilk in spite of the light showers on Aug 22 Monday, the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Dr. K. N. Vijayaprakash, the CEO of the ZP, and Ivan D’Souza also witnessed the Mosaru Kudike celebrations in Attavar.
Kadri Friends organized the Mosaru Kudike in Kadri and the local people enjoyed it.
Govindas formed high human pyramids in a bid to reach the pots, which were not only filled with buttermilk, but also with money and eatables.
Colorful tableaux, featuring tiger dancers, illustrated famous legends and stories associated with Shri Krishna.
