Janardhan Poojari likens Gujarat CM Narendra Modi to Hitler

Mangalore, April 29, 2013: Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister B Janardhan Poojari has likened Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to Hitler and said that on April 28, Sunday, six crore people heard Bhagavadgita from Hitler’s mouth.

 

 

 Speaking at the press meet held at Congress election publicity office on April 29, Monday he said that everyone is aware of the fact that Modi was indirectly responsible for the Gujarat riots.

He further said it was ridiculous to hear Modi  claim that the BJP was a clean party, even when he was flanked by deputy chief minister R Ashok who is facing corruption charges and  senior leader Ananth Kumar  who is an accused in the Rs 14,500 crore HUDCO loan scam. Another Deputy CM of the state too is involved in various scams, Poojari alleged.

Poojari said that according to CAG report, Modi has incurred a  huge loss of Rs 580 crore to Gujarat government and people, and added that Modi had no right to point fingers towards the Congress government.

He said Modi government had not collected a penalty of Rs 160.26 crore from Adani Private Ltd and had also approved  the land acquisition of 7,24, 897 acre for SR Steel company in Surat, thereby incurring a  loss of Rs 128.71 crore to the Gujarat government.

Commenting on Modi’s statement that the  country was  insecure after Congress came to power, Poojary said it was the BJP government which was in power when the Parliament was attacked  and the Aksharadhama Mandir was attacked in Gujarat.
