Illegal money transactions case: Bihar cops arrest 2 students

Mangalore, Nov 24, 2013: The Bihar police, who are investigating into the illegal money transactions case, have arrested two students from the city on November23, Saturday. It may be recalled here that the Bihar cops had recently arrested Ayesha Banu and her husband Jubair from their Panjimogaru residence on the charges of illegal money transactions through bank accounts. Allegations were also heard that the money was remitted to the bank accounts from Pakistan and that the funds used to be transferred to ultras.

Asif, a BBM student of Kanachur College is one among the two students arrested in the wee hours of Saturday. The identity of the other person who is arrested is not known.However, he is learnt to be from Bajpe.

Asif is from Amblamogaru.It is learnt,the arrested were produced before the court and taken to Bihar for further interrogations in the case.

Even Ayesha and Jubair are presently in Bihar and have been remanded to judicial custody.
