Illegal fund transactions: Court orders accused for medical examination

Mangalore, Nov 25, 2013: Mushtaq, one of the accused arrested by Bihar police in connection with an illegal money trail run by Aysha Banu and Zubair, was produced in the third JMFC court on November 25, Monday.


Accused Mustaq (45), a resident of Sooralpady near Bajpe was arrested by the Bihar police for having alleged links with Aysha and Zubair on November 23, Saturday.

During the court proceeding, family of Mushtaq submitted a letter to the judge Manjula Hundi stating him to be suffering from cancer, hence the court must show mercy.


After receiving the letter, the court ordered Mushtaq to be taken for medical examination after the hearing and he will be produced before the court on November 26, Tuesday.


Another arrested person is identified as Mohammed Asif (24) BBM graduate was also arrested on Saturday. The court had given him a transit warrant prior to Mustaq’s hearing.


According to the sources, Zubair used to have frequent telephonic conversation with Asif and Mushtaq and said to have link with illegal money trail.
