If the court had already issued a transit warrant for Asif when he was produced before court on November 23, Saturday,  the second accused too got a transit warrant  on November 24, Sunday after he was produced before the judge’s residence.

The Bihar police are expected arrive in the city in a couple of days to take the duo to Bihar for  interrogation.

The arrest of the two comes in the wake of the arrest of Ayesha and Jubair couple from their Panjimogaru residence on the night of November 11 for transacting funds accounting to several crores of rupees by luring some youth to open bank accounts. The funds had links to Pakistan, sources said.

Mustaq was a building contractor and owner of a chicken stall. He is married and has three children. His wife  is said to pregnant with the couple’s fourth child. His house is now locked  and neighbours say they  were unaware about his financial dealings. Some relatives however said Mustaq got into Hawala business as he was ailing and needed money for his medical treatment.
