Mangalore, Aug 28, 2013 : Monappa Bhandari, BJP leader and MLC has made a mockery of the state government by stating that hundreds of problems are the achievements of the State Government during its first hundred days in office.
He was speaking at the BJP office here on August 27, Tuesday. Bhandari said the state government does not have a full-fledged cabinet despite completing hundred days in office. He also questioned why the co-ordination committee was formed if everything was smooth sail.
He said the leaders who have brought about amendment to the Panchayatraj Act have not yet been able to bring amendments to the same and added the delay in announcing reservations too has hit hard development. On the Anna Bhagya scheme of the state government, he said ever since the scheme has been launched APL card holders are not receiving rice through fair price shops. There is no rice stock in the state and only 60 per cent of fair price shop commodities have been supplied to the district, Bhandari alleged.
He said the new District BJP Chief Pratapsinha Nayak will take charge at CV Nayak Hall on August 31. Nitin Kumar, District BJP Vice President and Pushpalatha Gatti were also present.
