Sullia, Oct 14, 2012: Addressing the gathering at a Hindu awareness program organized in Subrahmanya by the Hindu Hitarakshana Vedike on Oct 13, Saturday, RSS leader Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat said that the Hindu community is being treated as strangers while outsiders are being welcomed, adding that a uniform civil code must be introduced for the growth of the country.
Speaking about the need to protect Hindu culture and the Hindu people, he said that pseudo secularism has divided the country into minority and majority and sown seeds of differences, which must be eliminated.

Shree Vidyaprasanna Teertha Shripada Swamiji of Subrahmanya Mutt inaugurated the awareness program.
Addressing the gathering, the Swamiji said that India gives protection to all religions, but not to the majority Hindu community. Referring to Hindu culture as pure water in which the Hindus are fish, he said that foreign culture is like milk in which the fish cannot survive.
A procession was held from Kumarashwara to Subrahmanya Car Street before the convention.
