Fr. Fred Mascarenhas retires as principal of Milagres College Kallianpur

Mangalore, Sep 2, 2011 : Fr. Fred Mascarenhas, the principal of Milagres College Kallianpur, was bid a fond farewell at a special farewell ceremony organized in the auditorium of the college on Aug 30, Tuesday. Denis Moras Prabhu, the vicar general of the Mangalore Diocese, was the chief guest.

N. M. Hegde, the head of the department of Kannada at Milagres College, expressed his appreciation for the virtues of Fr. Mascarenhas.

Msgr Prabhu, Reena Fernandes of the maths department, alumns Prof. Susheela Rai, and student Vasuda felicitated Fr. Mascarenhas and Prof. Archana Dabade, the staff secretary, read the felicitation address.

Fr. Stany B. Lobo, the correspondent for Milagres institutions; Fr. Baptist Menezes, the Episcopal Vicar; Chandrashekar Hegde, the vice president of the alumni association; Dr. Neri Cornelio and Prof. Shalet Mathaias, the student council directors; and Fr. Ivan Rodrigues, the principal of Milagres Pre University College, were also present.
