A restaurant called Kudru is located on the top floor, where customers can enjoy an excellent meal. It can seat around 125 diners. The lower deck comprises H2O, an AC hall with excellent video and audio systems. The cruise boat has separate toilet facilities for men and women. Meanwhile, the DJ keeps people entertained and they can also dance to the accompaniment of music.

The cruise boat is made of teak wood from Dubai and can carry a weight of 250 tons. There are also facilities such as fire extinguishers and life jackets.

The formal inaugural ceremony was held in H2O, after which the vessel sailed for one hour. While young people immediately went to the dance floor, older citizens settled down on the top deck to enjoy the cool breeze.

The cruise boat belongs to six partners—J. J. Rao, Sonia Bangera, Dinesh Bekal, Yogish Karkera, J. K. Rao, and Philip J. Periera. J. J. Rao told reporters that they expect an excellent response to the floating restaurant as it is the first of its kind in the district. He also informed that it has already been booked for a wedding.

Further, he said that MLA Krishna K. Palemar has promised the organizers that he will make arrangements for a separate jetty for this cruise boat and ensure that sand will be removed as per their demand. N. Yogish Bhat, the deputy speaker of the state assembly, was also present at the inauguration ceremony.

The cruise boat will operate 2 trips—the first from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the second from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The organizers are also presenting an inaugural offer of Rs. 250 per individual and Rs. 100 per child below six.
