Kundapur, April 30, 2013  : A fire that broke out in a garment shop at the Devikiran Complex near Kota bus stand resulted in loss of goods worth Rs 6 lakhs  on April 29, Monday. The shop named ‘Selection Centre’ owned by Bahaddoor Basha  from Gujarat

A short circuit is said to be the cause of the mishap. All electronic goods and at least 20 per cent of the garments  in the shop were destroyed in the fire. There were three workers in the shop when the mishap took place. However, no  one was hurt. The fire tender vehicles which rushed to the spot, helped in extinguishing the fire.
