Mangalore, Aug 31, 2012: Fernandes Group Proprietor Wilson Fernandes said at a press conference held at Press Club in Urwa on August 31, Friday that Fernandes Group will launch Fernandes Academy to provide career guidance to people who are interested in working as foreign language trainers, nurses, and caregivers, on September 3 at Metro Plaza in Valencia. 

Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Yogish Bhat will inaugurate the academy, Fr. Ravi Santhosh Kamath SJ will bless the premises, and Mayor Gulzar Banu will be the chief guest, he added.

The academy has been launched as per the instructions of the Israel consulate to provide medical training and teach basic Hebrew to caregivers going for work in Israel. The company has been recruiting caregivers to Israel for the past 10 years.
