Mangalore, Sep 17: Dr. B. Jayashree, the renowned senior theatre artiste and member of the Rajya Sabha, released the 10th edition of Muller Pulse Neon, the annual magazine of Fr. Muller Medical College (FMMC) at the FMMC Decennial Memorial Hall on September 17 Saturday. She was invited as the chief guest of this event.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that young doctors need to serve rural people, especially people in North Karnataka, who do not have access to health care.
Prof. B. Viveka Rai, the visiting professor of Wurzburg University Germany, presided over the event. Speaking after launching the institution’s new website, he said the educational institutions must update their websites on a regular basis and make them as interactive as possible.
Dr. Laxman Prabhu, the consultant urologist, was the guest of honor. Fr. Denis D’Sa, the administrator of FMMC; Dr. J. P. Alva, the dean of FMMC; Dr. Kuldeep Moras, the staff advisor; and Tinu Joseph, the student editor were also present.
One of the highlights of the event was a folk song sung by Dr. B. Jayashree.
