District BJP celebrates Vijayotsav on Modi’s nomination as Prime Ministerial candidate

Mangalore, Sep 14, 2013: District BJP workers celebrated the ‘Vijayotsava’ in front of the BJP office on September 14, Saturday as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi filed nomination as their prime ministerial candidate.

Addressing the gathering, District BJP President Pratapsimha Nayak said that people of the country had suffered a lot to lead their simple life due to the corruption, scams and frequent price hike of basic commodities; hence Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate to save the country against price hike and corruption.

He said that by the nomination of Modi, the dreams of many youth to have a corruption free country will come true. The District BJP has welcomed the nomination decision made by the BJP high command, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, MLC Monappa Bhandary said that the congress government which ruled for 9 years in the centre has achieved nothing other than price hike, corruption and fall of rupee against dollar. Further entire nation will be saved when Modi will win the forthcoming elections.

The party workers burst fire crackers and distributed sweets to express their victory.
