Mangaluru Aug 10, 2016: Polytechnic all college Association staged protest in front of DC today August 10 Wednesday demanding carry over policy.
Addressing to the protestors Association Lawyer Dinaker Shetty alleged the failure of Directorate of Technical Board in implementing carry on policy. Then Minister RV Deshpande promised to implement carry on policy and change syllabus for every five years but today the demands are out of reality.
He also said that, the new guidelines given by the state board that students who fail in more than four subjects in the diploma course would not be given admission to the next semester,
He urged the government to allow first year and second year students who have not passed in the subjects and introduce carry on system. New system has oppressed the students to continue the education in diploma course due to which majority of the students will be forced to lose a year.
Memorandum has been submitted to Chief Minister and Governor through Deputy Commissioner.

The Government has to make the policies according to the convenience of the students .Its the burden to themselves let them face it . |
