Udupdead back13jul23 1i, Jul 23, 2013: It was a surprise for the family in Bagalkot, when one of their family member who was supposedly dead and cremated by them seven days back appears all of sudden in front of them on July 21.

Parashuram from Soolibhave in Bagalkot, who had come to Udupi to work as a labourer was assumed to be crushed under a city bus on July 14. When the face of the dead body was unidentified due to the incident, the locals saw the art of ’Parashappa’ and lord Anjaneya tattooed on the right hand of the body and claimed it to be the Parashuram.


 As per information by the police, the two elder brothers of Parashuram came to Udupi and claimed it to be their brother Parashuram Nagappa Hulyal (34) based on clues and took the mortal remains to Bagalkot and conducted the final rites on July 17.

But all of sudden, on July 21, Parashuram appeared before the family in Bagalkot bringing shock and surprise to the family. On enquiring about him working in Udupi, Parashuram said that he had already left Udupi, 9 months ago and has worked in various places as labourers.

He also said that he had been to Udupi on July 20 and even his friends were shocked to see him alive and informed about his family, who had cremated a body thinking him as dead.

Although the family member’s eyes were filled with joy, their anxiety to find out the identity of the body they cremated remains.
