Mangaluru, December 10, 2024: Dakshina Kannada MP and MLA have condoled the death of former Chief Minister S M Krishna. MP Cap Brijesh Chowta in his message said, "The state and the nation have lost a great leader who made an unparalleled contribution to development. S M Krishna was an exemplary and visionary leader whose administrative prowess set a benchmark. He elevated Bengaluru to global prominence by establishing it as the IT-BT hub of the world. His demise is an irreparable loss to the entire country."
He further added, "S M Krishna’s political journey, administrative skills, vast experience, and visionary thinking were truly inspiring and exemplary. Karnataka and the nation have lost a true statesman, and it is an irreplaceable loss."
MLA D Vedavyas Kamath expressed grief over the demise of former CM and described him as a simple and virtuous politician admired by all.
During his tenure as the CM, S M Krishna introduced several innovative reforms and played a significant role in the state’s development. His contributions extended beyond Karnataka, as he served the nation as a Union Minister and External Affairs Minister, leaving an indelible mark on Indian politics. Krishna’s journey and his exemplary works are an inspiration and a guide for all."
Mangalore University postpones exams
