DKWJU bids farewell to Press Club Manager Nagaraj Shettigar

Mangalore,Oct 2, 2012:The Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Union (DKWJU) organized a farewell party to Nagaraj Shettigar, manager of Press Club, at the Press Club on Oct 2, Tuesday.

Harish Rai, president of the DKWJU, expressed his appreciation of Nagaraj for serving as the manager of Press Club for 10 years.

Further speaking about Mr. Shettigar, he said that he has gained ample experience in handling people who conduct press meets at the Press Club. He has always efficiently presented information and press notes to media representatives, he added.

Anand Shetty, former president of Press Club, also spoke about the services rendered by Mr. Shettigar throughout the past 10 years.

Mr. Shettigar was honored with a bowl of fruits and a memento.

Ramakrishna, president of Press Club, Secretary Ravindra Shetty, and other journalists also expressed their appreciation of Mr. Shettigar.
