Mangalore, May 2,2013: “Congress challenged me and I came, whatever they predict  goes wrong; they said I will not  come and I came, they are saying that BJP will not  gain victory, but  we will,” said Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a public meet held as a part of BJP’s publicity campaign  at Nehru Maidan on May 2, Thursday, he debunked the claims of the Congress leaders that theirs was a poor man’s party. After seeing the BJP rule in Karnataka  and its  efforts for the welfare of the poor, the people have come to the conclusion that Congress was no longer a  poor man’s party, said Modi.
