Congress Seva Dal urges SP to scrutinize marks cards of police personnel recruited during 2011

Mangalore, Jul 8, 2013: DK District Congress Seva Dal Chief organizer Haji H M Ashraf has urged the Superintendent of Police to scrutinize  the marks cards of police staff appointed in the year 2011   as many do not have even minimum knowledge of English.

Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands Hall on July 7, Monday, he said that previous year around 150 police personnel were appointed in Dakshina Kannada as per the application taken in the year 2010.

He also  said that the police department must re check the marks cards of the police personnel appointed during the previous year and give the factual details to education department. He further urged the SP to re-evaluate and suspend the ineligible staff and provide an opportunity for the eligible candidates to work in their interested field.

Ashraf said that the during the selection process, there were very few candidates from DK and Udupi, while most were from other districts.
