Mangalore Today News Network

abvp13nov26 1Mangalore, Nov 26, 2013: ABVP state secretary Ramesh K said that the communist party is taking justice for Sowjanya rape and murder case in wrong direction.

Addressing the reporters at the press meet held at Press Club on Nov 26, Tuesday, he said that the Sowjanya case which was fighting to provide justice to her family, is now taken up in wrong direction to defame the Dharmastala and lessen the religious devotion among the public.

He also said that ABVP condemn the conspiracy knitted by the CPIM. After handing over the case to CBI probe, the supporters of communist party should have given some time for the case, but they are pulling out unrelated matters from the issue and creating a different issue.

Ramesh also said that even from the beginning ABVP is fighting to give justice for Sowjanya’s family, but due to the negligence of state government and police department, the issue went for a year.

There are cases where more than 1600 girls went missing in coastal region, but communist party never showed any concern over these issues, but are very much concerned over defaming Dharmastala temple, he said.

ABVP urge the CBI officials to conduct the probe and punish the real culprit, he said.

ABVP Co convener Yathish, city secretary Chethan, student leader Rakshith and Krithik were present.
