Civil Service Exam Training Program launched in St. Agnes College

Mangalore, Sep 1, 2012 : Dr. K. N. Vijayaprakash, CEO of Zilla Panchayat, inaugurated the Civil Service Examinations Training Program jointly organized by St. Agnes College and Prime Insititute in the college auditorium on August 31, Friday.

Chandramohan, HOD of political science at St. Agnes College, is in charge of this initiative.

Delivering the inaugural address on the occasion, Dr. Vijayaprakash spoke on the importance of the civil services, adding that they form the backbone of the nation.

The chief guest of the event was Kedige Aravind Rao, chairman of Lions Club. He urged students to focus more on civil services as only a few people get the opportunity to serve in the Indian Civil Service.

Principal Dr. Sr. Prem D’Souza presided.

Among the dignitaries on the dais were Radhakrishna Acharya, Lathavya Acharya, Raghupathi Rao, Rathnakumar, and Ramakrishna Pai, all directors of Prime Institute.
