Flowers are also in high demand these days, and no vendor is in the mood to bargain with a hope to sell flowers at any very high rate this festive season.

Markets are seen crowded with people going in search for flowers, vegetables and other items required to prepare the dishes and serve it as prasadam to Lord Krishna.

Every street in the city will be decked with mud pots tied high to the pole to celebrate the ‘Mosaru Kudike’ on the next day of Krishnastami, which resembles Lord Krishna’s act to take the milk and butter kept out of his reach by his mother.

Krishnastami will also be celebrated at Kadri Temple tomorrow, where thousands of children will be dressed up as little Krishna’s to take part in the Shri Krishna Vesha Contest from1 pm to 12 pm held annually. Whereas the ISCKON will celebrate Janmastami with Puja, pravachana and bhajan from 6 pm to 12 pm at Dr T M A Pai Convention center.
