Childrens’ Day celebrated at Balbhavan

Mangalore, Nov 14, 2013: DK District Administration in associatoion with Zilla Panchayath, Womens and Child Welfare Department and Child Line Mangalore celebrated Childrens’ Day at Balbhavan, Kadri on Nov 14, Thursday.

 

 

Speaking after inaugurating the event, G N Subramanya, senior civil judge and president of Bala Nyaya Mandali  said that Governmnet has implemented new schemes for the development and protection of children.

He also said that at present day many children come to Bala Nyaya Mandali  due to the negligence of the parents.  If parents fail to provide good education and guidance to children with love from the young age, then parents will ultimately lose them.

DC N Prakash presided over the event . Asha Nayak, president of Child welfare committee inaugurated the ’Child Line Se Dosti week’.

Dakshina Kannada district women and child development deputy director Gertrude Veigas, Moses Jayashekar, Deputy Director for Public Instruction and others were present.
