CM expressed confidence that BJP will win bypolls

Udupi, March 16, 2012 : According to CM Sadananda Gowda, voters residing in places from Tarikere to Kundapur are in favor of the BJP. He was interacting with reporters in the BJP office.

Further, he said that people greatly appreciate the development projects the BJP has launched. He said that the people gathered in large numbers everywhere he went, owing to which he feels confident that the BJP will win the Udupi to Chikmagalur Lok Sabha by polls.

Talking about the railway budget, he said that it has neglected the state completely. He complained that the minister of state for railways has failed to propose new projects for the state. Although upgrading the railway station to international standards was proposed during the last budget, the minister has cancelled it this time, he said.

Stating that 18 new projects were requested for the state this year, he said that the budget has sidelined them all. He said that the Lok Sabha requires a strong representative who can fight for the rights for the people for this reason. The BJP candidate Sunil Kumar is the right person for that, he added.
