Bus Conductor beaten up for misbehaving with lady passenger

Bantwal, Sep 13, 2013: The bus conductor was beaten up by the passengers for misbehaving with a lady passenger at Melkar junction on September 12, Thursday.

The woman from Kukkaje slapped Mohammed, a conductor of Mangalore to BC Road bus for acting indecently with her. Women’s husband who saw the incident made the conductor get down in the next stop and assaulted the conductor, while other passengers in the bus also accompanied him.

 

The police, who reached on the spot, filed the case against the conductor and took him to the custody.  Later he was taken to hospital for treatment.

Speaking to the media, Women’s husband said that few days ago, the same conductor had troubled her and driving her to attempt suicide by going to an Anganwadi, where she is working.
