Mangalore, Nov 3, 2013:  Prominent Bunt personalities attended a meeting held at AB Shetty Convention Hall, Bunts Hostel in Mangalore on November 2, Saturday,  in support of Shree Devi Education Trust Chairman Sadananda Shetty, one of the candidates for the post of president of  the Buntara alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha.

The election is scheduled to be held on November 10. The other candidate who is contesting the poll is Ajith Kumar Malady


Among others who attended the meeting included Dr N Vinay Hegde,  Chancellor of Nitte University, Dr M Shantharam Shetty, noted surgeon and Bunts Foundation President, veteran writer Erya Laxminarayana Alva, singer and music composer Gurukiran, Dr K R Shetty, senior politician A Amarnath Shetty and entrepreneur and social worker Vijaynath Vittal Shetty.


Aikala Harish Shetty, Basroor Appanna Hegde, Dr M Ramgopal Shetty and several others were present.
