Mangalore, May 2, 2013 : CPI(M) Politburo Member Brinda Karat launched a frontal attack on the BJP and t he RSS and charged the RSS of polarizing the society and creating bloodshed.
Addressing a convention of CPI(M) leaders and workers at Nasik BH Bhavan during her visit to the city on May 1, Wednesday, she said RSS was not just against the minorities but was also working against the interests of the society.
She also charged the Hindu outfits patronized by the Sangh Parivar of taking law into their hands in the name of moral policing. She further blamed both the Congress and the BJP for backing the corporate class. Not sparing the BJP government in Karnataka, Brinda Karat said the government has failed to keep up its promises. She said the CPI((M) always worked for the common man without siding the corporate and added the main objective of the party was to fight for the rights of the people.
Several party leaders Vasanth Acharya, B Madhava, KR Sriyan and Krishnappa Konchady were present.
