Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha celebrates birthday at St Anthony Ashram

Mangaluru, Apr 27, 2019 : In a noble gesture, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese celebrated his first birthday after assuming office as Bishop, at the St Anthony Ashram at Jeppu. He presided over a thanksgiving Eucharist at the Ashram’s Chapel on April 27, Saturday morning.

Administrator of the Ashram Fr Francis D’Souza preached the homily. Vicar General of the Diocese Msgr Maxim L Noronha, M P Noronha and others wished the Bishop on his birthday.

In his address, the Bishop said he was happy to celebrate his birthday in the Ashram in a meaningful way.

A felicitation song for the Bishop was rendered on the occasion. Several priests, seminarians, Ashram inmates and members of the public were present on the occasion and wished the Bishop on his birthday.
